Resonance is a choose your own mystery card game

that unveils the clash between two fictional civilizations.

The player stands at a custom-made game board, surrounded by the video projection of a virtual world, with a selection of cards from a deck of 24. The illustrated cards are inspired by landscape, characters, or objects that stem from the creative team’s cultural background. Each entity comes with its own soundscape and an embedded story. The goal is to match the card’s imagery when a related sound is broadcasted. Through matching, the texts are revealed, and the cards revive as animations. One by one, they build up an allegorical landscape of collective memory and the metaphor of the world we abide within.
